Job summary

Volue is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Ancitra team (Trading Development). You will help build and maintain a domain-rich auction application for power grids, shaping energy markets of tomorrow and supporting Volue's mission.

We require 3–5 years of C# backend experience, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, SQL with ORM, RabbitMQ, and cloud infra (AKS, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes). Hybrid work: 2 days per week at Volue Gdansk.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of commercial experience in C# backend development.
• Proficiency with ASP.NET Core and WebAPI.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with RabbitMQ messaging.
• Familiarity with cloud infra (AKS), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions), Docker and Kubernetes.
• Business fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Developing a domain-rich auction application for power grids built with .NET 9.
• Building asynchronous communication based on RabbitMQ for scalable data exchange.
• Developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including deployment and monitoring.
• Contributing to a product that supports the energy transition and markets of tomorrow.

The role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Ancitra team (Trading Development). You will help build and maintain a domain-rich auction application for power grids, shaping how energy is balanced on the markets of tomorrow and directly supporting Volue's mission and its customers.

What you will do to make a difference

• Developing a domain-rich auction application for power grids built with .NET 9.
• Building asynchronous communication based on RabbitMQ, ensuring scalability and reliability of data exchange between services.
• Developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, from architecture and deployment to production monitoring.
• Making a real impact on a product that supports the energy transition and shapes how energy is balanced on the markets of tomorrow.

What you need to suceed

• Over 3-4 years (mid) or over 5 years (senior) of commercial experience in C# backend development.
• Proficiency in web application development using ASP.NET Core and WebAPI.
• A solid understanding of SQL databases and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AKS), CI/CD tools (like GitHub Actions), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Business fluency in English.
• Openness to a hybrid work model: 2 days in Volue Gdansk office per week.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is

• 16 000-20 000 PLN monthly UOP
• 110-140 pln/h B2B

in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
