Job summary

Infolet in Kraków is seeking an experienced Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain distributed systems and microservices. You will work in a hybrid environment, blending software development with DevOps, SRE, and production support to ensure high availability and performance of critical applications.

You will collaborate with product owners and engineers, drive DevOps practices, enhance observability, and contribute to CI/CD improvements and incident management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience crafting distributed systems in Java.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture knowledge.
• Experience with modern Java versions (Java 25+).
• Solid DevOps, CI/CD automation and lifecycle management understanding.
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• REST APIs and distributed systems expertise.
• Production support, incident management and troubleshooting experience.
• SRE principles, monitoring and observability know‑how.
• Jira and Confluence usage in cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive DevOps adoption and Agile practices across teams.
• Translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, and IT architects.
• Design scalable solutions following modern software engineering practices.
• Apply SRE to improve platform reliability and performance.
• Develop and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling.
• Participate in incident, problem, and service delivery processes.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes.
• Support lifecycle management including vulnerability remediation and production stability.
• Identify automation opportunities and reduce manual tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
