Job summary

Capgemini Poland is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain Snowflake data pipelines that support multiple business functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable data solutions and optimize data models for performance and cost efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years in Big Data or Cloud projects, hands-on Snowflake experience, and strong SQL with Python/Scala/Java. A hybrid work model and ongoing training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Big Data or Cloud projects.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (1+ year).
• Experience designing data transformation pipelines with Snowflake or via partners.
• Familiarity with Snowflake pricing and cost optimization.
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform (Storage/Compute/Networking/DevOps).
• Basic SQL knowledge and one programming language (Python/Scala/Java/bash).
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines for various business functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions.
• Optimize data models and schemas for performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across the data lifecycle.
• Implement monitoring and alerting to proactively address issues.
• Plan and execute migration from on-prem to Snowflake.
• Develop AI/ML/Generative AI solutions.
• Stay updated on Snowflake best practices and emerging technologies.
