DHL Poland is seeking a Site Manager to lead our operations in Psary and oversee warehousing, KPIs, and financial performance. You will drive operational excellence, coach a team of managers, and build strong customer partnerships to align with evolving client needs.

The role requires leadership in cost control, budgeting, and strategic execution while maintaining safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics operations at Site or Operations Manager level.
• Proven track record in leading management teams and succession planning.
• Experience launching new logistics operations and ramp-up projects.
• Ability to define and execute operational and customer growth strategies.
• Strong budgeting, forecasts, and investment business cases experience.

What Will We Do Together?

• Manage all business‑related activities at the site, including warehousing operations, contractual obligations, KPIs, and financial performance, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Take full ownership of site performance, including operational results, budget management, cost control, and achievement of business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational development while leading, coaching, and developing a team of managers.
• Build and strengthen long‑term customer partnerships by providing strategic insights, negotiating solutions, and supporting customer growth.
• Collaborate proactively with customers to review operational performance, budgets, and future development plans, ensuring alignment with their evolving needs.
• Lead change and transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
• Foster a high‑performance culture by providing support, resources, and development opportunities for your team.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing logistics operations in a Site Manager or Operations Manager role.
• Proven experience in leading management teams, developing leadership capabilities, and building succession plans.
• Demonstrated success in launching new logistics operations and managing start‑up/ramp‑up projects.
• Strong ability to define and execute operational and customer growth strategies while maintaining full ownership of business results.
• Proven track record in contract negotiations, commercial renegotiations, and building long‑term, trust‑based client relationships.
• Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts, and investment business cases.
• Strong financial acumen, including responsibility for budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
• Experience leading transformation projects, organizational change initiatives, and Continuous Improvement programs.
• Strong project management skills with a passion for driving innovation and implementing operational efficiency improvements.
• Ability to perform effectively in high‑pressure environments and successfully manage crisis situations.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level).

Nice to have:

• Experience working with clients in the premium retail, beauty, fashion, or e‑commerce sectors.
• Experience in a multi‑user warehousing environment.
• Involvement in warehouse automation projects and implementation of new technologies.
• Lean Six Sigma certification and/or hands‑on experience applying Lean methodologies.
