AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Shopify Practice Lead to build and lead our e-commerce group. You will guide teams through Shopify implementations, mentor developers, and partner with sales on pre-sales calls to drive growth for Fortune 500 brands and top product companies.

You’ll translate business goals into technical roadmaps, ensure high-performance, SEO-friendly solutions, and stay current with headless frameworks and integrations in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale Shopify solutions.
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring developers.
• Ability to convert business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting sales conversations and scoping projects.
• Strong communication, organization, and remote collaboration skills.
• High proficiency in English.
• Availability for consulting, team leadership, and part-time involvement as needed.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee Shopify stores, apps, and integrations end-to-end.
• Drive secure, scalable solutions and establish coding standards.
• Lead prototype engagements, establish best practices, scope work, and mentor developers.
• Serve as primary contact for a client portfolio and translate goals into roadmaps.
• Provide guidance on conversion optimization, UX/UI, SEO, and performance.
• Engage in discovery calls, scope projects, and identify upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketers to align solutions with business goals.
• Ensure designs meet performance, SEO, and CRO best practices.
• Stay current with Shopify updates and third-party integrations.
• Champion engineering excellence and contribute to the e-commerce roadmap.
