AgileEngine is proactively building a strategic talent pool for high-priority Shopify Plus projects, offering a remote-first environment and opportunities to work with senior engineers on cutting-edge eCommerce solutions.

In this role you will architect and develop high-performance Shopify components, drive platform improvements, and support a fast-paced engineering culture focused on quality, security, and scalable design.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
Solid understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern development methodologies.
Experience with page performance optimization, caching, CDNs, and secure development practices.
Strong ability to diagnose and resolve site issues using tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Customer-first mindset and adaptability.
Familiarity with Jira and collaborative development environments.
Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance eCommerce solutions on Shopify Plus.
Lead deep code analysis and implement platform features.
Contribute to roadmap planning and platform capabilities.
Provide Shopify Plus technical support and participate in code reviews.
