AgileEngine is proactively building a strategic talent pool for Shopify Plus projects, delivering high-performance ecommerce solutions for innovative brands. You will architect, develop, and maintain key system components, collaborating with senior engineers in a remote-first environment while shaping the ecommerce roadmap and platform capabilities.

You will provide Shopify Plus technical support, participate in code reviews, ensure security and performance best practices, and work with Product

Qualifications

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Jira and collaborative development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop key system components, identify reusable modules, and optimize delivery times.
• Perform deep code analysis, develop patches, and implement new platform features.
• Research platform capabilities and identify opportunities for the eCommerce roadmap.
• Engage with Product Management on system design, capabilities, and innovative solutions.
• Provide first-level Shopify technical support, troubleshoot critical issues, and conduct incident postmortems.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical validation.
• Work with the broader development team to ensure best practices in security and performance.
• Support Project Management with effort estimates and planning.
• Proactively identify and remove technical roadblocks.
