Job summary

Grigeo Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shift teams in a large manufacturing group. You will ensure production meets product specifications, quality standards and deadlines, while coordinating resources and maintaining records.

Requirements include a higher education qualification in manufacturing or engineering, at least two years of supervision experience, strong leadership, good English, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• A higher education qualification in manufacturing, technology or engineering.
• At least two years of experience as a Production Supervisor or Shift Supervisor.
• Ability to plan and organize team activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with good English communication.
• Valid Category B driving licence; first aid, health and safety training, and fire safety certificates.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring production meets product specifications, technical and quality standards, and deadlines.
• Monitoring availability and stock levels of energy resources, raw materials, supplies and other materials required for production.
• Organizing the work of shift employees and on-duty personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring proper operation of production equipment and forklifts, as well as compliance with technological processes and operating instructions.
• Maintaining production-related documentation, employee records and reports.
• Ensuring a safe working environment for your team, providing PPE and conducting safety briefings.
• Cooperating with other departments to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
• Maintaining and further implementing LEAN practices within the shift.
• Working a rotating shift schedule: 07:00–19:00; 19:00–07:00.

What we expect from you:

A higher education qualification or equivalent in manufacturing, technology or engineering;

At least two years of experience as a Production Supervisor or Shift Supervisor;

The ability to plan and organize team activities in line with production targets and deadlines;

Strong leadership skills and the ability to bring a team together to achieve shared goals;

A collaborative, proactive and goal-oriented approach;

The ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment;

Good written and spoken English communication skills;

A valid Category B driving licence;

A valid first aid certificate, an occupational health and safety training certificate for employers or their representatives, and a fire safety certificate.
