Job summary

Nexi Group in Krakow is seeking a Settlement Specialist to join a collaborative, international team. You will verify and post expense invoices, review documents for accuracy, reconcile AP and GL accounts, and support month-end closing activities.

Ideal candidates have an accounting/finance background, strong Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Experience with Symfonia is a plus, and a proactive learner will thrive here.

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or currently pursuing).
• Good understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

As a Settlement Specialist, you'll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Krakow.

About Your Future Role

• Verify and post expense invoices and other cost-related documents.
• Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and requirements.
• Reconcile accounts payable balances and general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Reconcile cash transactions and corporate card expenses.
• Process payments and authorize bank transactions.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and outstanding issues.
• Ensure the proper flow, filing, and archiving of accounting documentation.
