Job summary

Mastercard in Warsaw seeks an Analyst for the Payments Assurance Team to safeguard the integrity of our global payments ecosystem. You will support timely and accurate settlement across markets, identify settlement exceptions, and resolve cash discrepancies while collaborating with customers, banks, and cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, onboarding support, testing, analytics initiatives, and projects to strengthen payment assurance and control environments

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting principles, treasury operations, or payment processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with desktop applications and data reporting tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily settlement activities across multiple service cut-off cycles.
• Manage the collection of customer payables and support cash management activities.
• Investigate and resolve settlement-related inquiries and payment discrepancies.
• Maintain operational controls, logs, and key settlement records.
• Review and maintain settlement instructions, member account details, and wire transfer routing information.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiency through automation.
