Job summary

Akamai Technologies GmbH in Kraków is seeking a Service Architect II to act as the voice of the customer and GSS functions throughout product design and development. You will help design complex solutions that deliver serviceability and supportability and influence the overall product and business strategy at the highest levels.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field
• Well versed in internet technologies, networks and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, TLS/SSL)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate to technical and business audiences

Responsibilities

• Operate as the evangelist for the global services and support division throughout the product lifecycle
• Create and share a strategic vision for serviceable and supportable products
• Define the technical requirements for product supportability and assess the product against these requirements
• Own project launch readiness, ensuring all documentation, policies and processes are in place to deliver successfully to the customer

Job Purpose/USP

As a Service Architect II, you will act as the voice of the customer and GSS functions throughout product design and development. As an internal consultant across the whole business, you'll help design complex product solutions to deliver serviceability and supportability. Directly impacting Akamai revenues, you'll shape overall product and business strategy and influence at the highest levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate as the evangelist for the global services and support division throughout the product lifecycle
• Create and share a strategic vision for serviceable and supportable products
• Define the technical requirements for product supportability and assess the product against these requirements
• Advocate best practices for the customer and internal teams during product design, development and implementation
• Own project launch readiness, ensuring all documentation, policies and processes are in place to deliver successfully to the customer

Qualifications

• Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent)
• Be well versed in internet technologies, networks and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, TLS/SSL)
• Demonstrate a good balance of technical and strategic skills
• Display excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate to technical and business audiences
