Job summary

HARMAN is seeking an experienced Windows IT Engineer to lead the design, evolution, and integration of our Windows-based infrastructure. You will bridge business strategy with hands-on implementation, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure Microsoft environments.

The role focuses on AD/Entra ID, Azure integration, virtualization, and security best practices in a hybrid on-prem/Cloud setting with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems engineering/administration focused on Microsoft technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server core components (Failover Clustering, File Server, Storage Spaces Direct).
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Windows server and client infrastructure (on-premises, hybrid, and cloud).
• Develop and maintain the roadmap for Active Directory (AD DS), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services (PKI).
• Architect hybrid identity solutions integrating on-prem AD with Azure AD (Entra ID) and Microsoft 365.
• Design virtualization strategies (Hyper-V, VMware) and storage configurations for Windows workloads.
• Plan high-availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions for Windows systems.
