Job summary

Anshar Studios S.A. seeks a Senior/Expert Gameplay Programmer (Specialized in PCG) with a strong Unreal Engine background to design and implement procedural content generation systems for our PCG-focused games.

You will own procedural pipelines, collaborate with designers and artists, and ensure deterministic, performant generation. Excellent C++ skills, experience in shipped titles, and strong communication in English and Polish are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as an Unreal Engine programmer, including gameplay

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of procedural generation systems, tools, and related sub-systems.
• Design game code architecture for procedural pipelines, from data authoring to runtime generation.
• Develop and implement procedural content generation features in Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to ensure systems serve the creative vision and are easy to work with.
• Troubleshoot technical questions or issues to prevent bottlenecks in production.
• Provide guidance to other programmers to ensure maintainable code.
• Optimize and debug generation code for performance and determinism where required.
• Contribute to overall game design and documentation.
