Anshar Studios in Katowice is hiring a UE Gameplay Programmer to join on-site in Katowice or remotely. You will develop gameplay features in Unreal Engine, implement systems, and collaborate with designers and artists to ensure smooth integration of gameplay elements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience and a track record in at least one shipped title. The role emphasizes strong C++ skills, knowledge of Gameplay Ability System and Gameplay Tags, and good English/Polish communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Gameplay Programmer.
• Credited in at least one commercial video game.
• Knowledge of Gameplay Ability System and Gameplay Tags.
• Familiar with multiplayer networking in Unreal Engine.
• Solid C++ skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop features and sub-systems under senior programmers.
• Participate in technical discussions and propose solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues within your area and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers for integration.
• Implement gameplay features in Unreal Engine per designs.
• Write clean, maintainable code following standards.
• Debug and optimize your own code for performance.
• Participate in code reviews and give/receive feedback.
• Contribute ideas to gameplay design and implementation.
• Create clear technical documentation for features.
• Show care and commitment to quality software development.
