Job summary

Techland is seeking a Senior UI Programmer to contribute to our latest games. You will implement UI features, drive the development of complex UI systems, and extend our UI framework to streamline content creation.

Collaboration with designers, artists, and gameplay teams is essential to deliver polished player experiences. The role requires strong C++ skills, experience with large UI systems, and a passion for games, particularly in the FPS space.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on UI implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of C++.
• Experience developing / maintaining complex UI systems.
• Experience working closely with UX/UI designers.
• Ability to profile and optimize code, with a focus on cross-platform performance.
• Authentic passion for games as well as knowledge of the latest titles and trends, especially in FPP games.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Very good command of English.
• Familiarity with version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement UI in games and iterate on UI features with UX/UI designers and gameplay teams.
• Own and drive development of complex UI systems.
• Extend proprietary UI framework and tools for efficient content creation.
• Debug and optimize UI code for performance, responsiveness, and stability.
• Mentor and support other programmers, sharing best practices and code reviews.
