Qualifications

Proficient in TypeScript with focus on developer tooling and CLI design.
Experience building or maintaining command-line interfaces and scripting-friendly behavior.
Clear written and spoken English; comfortable in asynchronous remote environments.
Ability to own problems end to end and mentor others.

Responsibilities

Own design and evolution of GitLab Duo CLI features from concept to rollout.
Develop interactive terminal experiences with clear output and backward compatibility.
Improve reliability, observability, and performance of the CLI.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineers to align with GitLab strategy.
Support IDE extension work (JetBrains Kotlin, VS Code TypeScript) when needed.
Provide technical leadership and code reviews to maintain quality.
