Job summary

State Street is seeking a Senior Test Specialist to lead UAT testing across Transfer Agency systems in Europe. You will craft test plans, ensure high-quality documentation, and report metrics to senior stakeholders. This role emphasizes risk-aware regression and continuous improvement of test processes.

• Minimum of 3 years of testing experience in finance, banking or investment banking.

Responsibilities

• Generate high-quality test plans and test results for each project the team is engaged on.
• Create comprehensive test documentation with well-defined, reusable test scripts that are traceable back to requirements.
• Contribute to reporting to stakeholders and senior management including metrics.
• Execute testing to agreed internal standards; ensure documentation is auditable.
• Ensure regression testing is performed to reduce risks while meeting deadlines.
• Support development of automated regression suite – identify tests for automation and review coverage.
• Management of risk and issue escalation.
• Review BRDs and provide feedback based on system knowledge and best practices.
• React dynamically to changing priorities.
• Communicate accurate Test status to Test Lead/PM and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Test Charter/Methodology to industry best practice.

Who We Are Looking For

Senior Test Specialist responsible for conducting test activities on Transfer Agency systems utilized in the Transfer Agency business across Europe. Key goal is executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of any change to a Transfer Agency application to agreed standards, ensuring that the quality of the output is of a consistently, high standard.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As Senior Test Specialist You Will:

• Generate high-quality test plans and test results for each project the team is engaged on.
• Create comprehensive test documentation with well-defined, reusable test scripts that are traceable back to requirements.
• Contribute to reporting to stakeholders and senior management including appropriate metrics.
• Execute testing to agreed internal standards; ensure documentation is to an auditable standard.
• Ensure regression testing is performed in a manner that recognizes the risks of introducing defects into an established environment while at the same time meeting deadlines
• Support development of automated regression suite – identify tests suitable for automation and review existing coverage for potential gaps.
• Management of risk and issue escalation.
• Contribute to shift left philosophy by reviewing all BRDs, providing detailed feedback based on working knowledge of the system being changed and best practice requirements validation.
• React dynamically to changing priorities.
• Communicate accurate Test status to Test Lead / Test Manager, Project Manager, external vendors and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Test Charter/Methodology to industry best practice and based

Minimum Salary

zł132 000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
