Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland is seeking a senior QA engineer to own testing across mobile, API, and UI layers on a customer-facing software project in an Agile environment. You will define testing strategies, coordinate automation, and ensure high-quality releases.

You will mentor juniors, work with stakeholders, manage release quality gates, and contribute to continuous QA improvements, with fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial software testing and QA experience.
• Strong testing techniques and QA best practices.
• Hands-on mobile, API, and UI testing.
• Experience in release planning, quality gates, and Go/No-Go decisions.
• Ability to define testing scope and mitigate risks.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain test strategies, plans, and QA approaches.
• Analyze requirements, identify testing scope and quality risks.
• Execute and coordinate manual and automated testing.
• Perform mobile, API, and UI testing across layers.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders on quality topics.
• Prepare test documentation, reports, and metrics.
• Support automation strategy and framework improvements.
• Drive quality initiatives and mitigation actions.
• Mentor junior QA team members.
• Contribute to cross-functional Agile releases.
• Oversee release management from a quality perspective.
