Job summary

SIX is advancing its debiX platform to deliver secure, reliable payment capabilities and a top-tier user experience. You will join one of our Scrum teams, developing automated tests and driving quality across UI, API, and mobile components in a regulated fintech context.

In this role, you will collaborate with software engineers, requirements engineers, and product owners to shape testing strategies and ensure robust delivery of features across the platform.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software testing with API and UI automation experience.
• Strong REST/JSON and SQL querying knowledge.
• Experience testing mobile apps on Android and iOS.
• Familiar with banking/payments/fintech compliance.
• Excellent German communication in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for debiX platform in an agile Scrum team.
• Design and execute UI and API testing strategies to validate system behavior and user journeys.
• Expand and improve test automation to increase efficiency and coverage across releases.
• Take ownership of test processes and contribute to quality strategy across the whole development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers and product owners to identify improvements and optimize testing workflows.

What You Bring

• 6+ years in software testing with experience in API testing and in UI automation tools.
• Understanding of REST/JSON services and SQL-based data querying
• Experience with testing mobile apps on Android and iOS,
• Familiarity with regulated environments such as banking, payments, or fintech and compliance awareness
• Very good written and spoken German with strong communication skills in cross-functional teams
