Sii Poland in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Manual Tester to join a corporate startup focused on electric mobility. The role is hybrid, with office presence required two days per week.

You will plan and execute integration and contract testing, analyze results, and collaborate with developers to improve product stability, while using Postman, Swagger, and Jira/Xray to manage testing activities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a software tester for web and mobile apps.
• Proficient with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Experience with SQL databases and executing queries.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Manual Tester to join a corporate startup focused on innovation in electric mobility. You will be part of a global hub dedicated to shaping the future of electric mobility. You will collaborate with developers and other teams to ensure product stability and contribute to the development of solutions that facilitate the transition to electric vehicles.

The role is hybrid and requires working from office 2 days a week.

Your tasks

• Planning and executing integration and contract testing to ensure product quality
• Conducting thorough analysis and evaluation of test results to identify areas for improvement
• Utilizing API testing tools like Postman and Swagger to validate service functionality
• Employing SQL queries to verify data integrity and database interactions
• Documenting testing processes and results using tools like JIRA and Xray for Jira
• Collaborating with developers to understand critical paths and enhance product stability
• Building strong cooperation with other development teams to improve overall testing processes

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a software tester of web and mobile applications
• Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger
• Experience with SQL databases and executing queries
• Familiarity with defect management tools like JIRA and test management tools like Xray
• Solid knowledge of common test design techniques and software development lifecycle
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Fluency in Polish and English

Nice to have

• Experience in automation testing of mobile and web applications
• Knowledge of card payments and card management systems
• ISTQB Foundation Level and/or ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst certification
