HSBC Service Delivery (Polska) Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking experienced automation professionals to build and maintain an Avaloq-based test suite for the GPB Core Banking Platform.

You will lead the design and development of automated testing, optimise tooling, and ensure regulatory compliance and operational stability. Strong background in test automation, Avaloq scripting, and private banking domain knowledge is required.

We are seeking experienced professionals to help shape, deliver, integrate, and continuously improve Avaloq-based solutions across their full lifecycle. Working with business stakeholders, technology teams, architects, vendors, and control functions, you will help deliver scalable, reliable, efficient, and compliant services that meet the needs of our clients and support HSBC’s strategic objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build test automation capability for the GPB Core Banking Platform (Avaloq).
• Lead the design and development of an Avaloq Test Suite with high automation coverage, continually optimising and extending it.
• Keep automation levels consistently optimised to minimise manual intervention across testing and operational lifecycles, including selecting tools to maximise performance.
• Ensure products and services meet all mandatory and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Be responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the pod activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly.
• Be accountable for the platform’s operational stability, integrity, and availability.
• Functionally manage the team to ensure the automation suite is delivered and operated in line with customer needs.

You’re a great candidate if you have these:

• Strong testing background, including test automation using TestMaster.
• Solid understanding of the Private Banking domain.
• Experience working on the Avaloq platform. Strong technical capability in Avaloq scripting and DDIC. Knowledge of Avaloq reporting/interfaces.
• Proven debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design and develop the most appropriate IT solutions in line with agreed solution designs and customer needs, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Accountability for ensuring appropriate unit and integration test coverage, partnering effectively with Test Engineers.
• Strong leadership skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders across systems and functions. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to define and document solutions and changes, producing comprehensive documentation supported by structured analysis techniques and methodologies
• Experience working across one or more functional domains and adapting quickly to new business areas.

The pay range for this role is 17 500 PLN – 22 000 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
