Job summary

PwC is seeking a Senior Test Engineer (freelance) to ensure the highest quality of software by defining and executing robust test automation and performance testing. You will collaborate with clients and the PwC delivery team to scope automated tests and lead a team of technical testers.

The role requires expertise in Playwright/Selenium, JMeter or Grafana k6, and strong English with Polish communication for international projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in test automation for enterprise-class systems.
• Independent test automation/performance test strategy definition.
• Proficiency in multiple languages (TypeScript, Java, Python) and frameworks (Playwright, Selenium).
• Ability to learn new frameworks quickly and work in agile environments.
• Strong Polish and English communication for international teams.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in performance testing with modern tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Grafana k6).
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate as a sole proprietor or business entity in Poland due to project-based work.

Responsibilities

• Assure the quality of delivered software and drive testing best practices.
• Review and analyse system requirements.
• Define test automation strategy and scope with clients and PwC delivery teams.
• Create, execute and maintain test automation scripts.
• Create and execute performance tests and analyze results.
• Report testing effort status and results to stakeholders.
• Lead a team of technical testers and coordinate activities.
