Job summary

PwC in Warsaw seeks a Senior Test Engineer (freelance) to assure top quality software. You will review requirements, define automation and performance tests, and lead a team of testers. Proficiency in TypeScript/Java, Python, Playwright/Selenium, CI/CD and agile delivery is expected.

Polish and English fluency are required for collaboration on international projects. Hybrid work model with occasional remote work and opportunities for international projects and business trips.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in test automation for enterprise systems.
• Experience in defining independent test automation and performance testing approaches.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Java and Python; familiarity with Playwright and Selenium.
• Ability to learn new frameworks quickly and work with agile delivery processes.
• Excellent Polish and English communication, strong teamwork skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and AI-assisted QA tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of CRM testing and dealing with international teams is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and modern OS concepts is desirable.
• Ability to operate as a sole proprietor/business entity in Poland for project-based work.

Responsibilities

• Assure high quality software delivery through comprehensive testing.
• Review and analyze system requirements to derive test scope.
• Define and implement test automation strategy and scope with customers and PwC team.
• Create, execute and maintain test automation scripts; run performance tests.
• Analyze results, report testing effort status and outcomes.
• Lead a team of technical testers to ensure timely delivery.
