Job summary
ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is seeking a Strong Middle / Senior Test Automation Engineer (TypeScript) for Poland, Croatia, and Ukraine. You will design and implement automated tests for API and frontend layers, and help scale the test infrastructure for a growing product suite.
The role requires 5+ years of testing experience, proficiency with Playwright and TypeScript, and strong communication in English.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software testing with hands-on automation.
- API and E2E automation with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Design/build/maintain automation frameworks for API/backend testing.
- Set up/maintain mock servers and stubs for external integrations.
- Extend automation to frontend apps.
- Understand test architecture, mocking, test data management.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving.
- Ownership of test infra and quality initiatives.
- Upper-Intermediate English
- Excellent communication
Responsibilities
- Review requirements and convert into QA artefacts.
- Prepare and acquire test data.
- Develop, execute, refactor and optimize automation scripts.
- Log results and document deviations.
- Use automation tools for script administration, monitoring, and management.
- Provide automation environment setup.
- Review artefacts created by others.
- Contribute to automation process control.
- Investigate and implement new automation tools.
- Create test documentation.
- Communicate with the customer.
