Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years hands-on test automation experience.
• Strong proficiency with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and building test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and working in Scrum.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control with Git.
• Experience with usability and accessibility testing.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Write and execute automated test scripts covering functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
• Establish and document QA practices, procedures, and standards scaled to the organisation.
• Collaborate closely with developers to investigate, analyse, and resolve defects, and drive automation testing best practices.
• Contribute to story planning and definition of acceptance criteria within Scrum ceremonies.
• Track, analyse, and report on software quality metrics across sprints and releases.
• Act as a key point of escalation for software quality issues, driving resolution across the team.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance software quality and user experience.
• Keep current with industry trends and automation tooling, bringing learnings back to the team.
