Akamai Inference Cloud Team seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive complex AI infrastructure programs from vision to reality. You will lead planning, risk management and cross-functional execution across cloud infrastructure and AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical program management, cloud infrastructure engineering or AI/ML.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, manage risks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong Agile experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program planning and execution for major AI platform initiatives, defining technical roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on priorities, timelines, and resources, ensuring deliverables are on time and within scope.
• Oversee the Product Development Process and SDLC for AI products and solutions, including release phases.
• Leverage technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to market, including planning, risk, and schedule management.
• Establish program metrics, monitor progress, communicate updates to senior leaders, and mentor team members informally.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading end-to-end program planning and execution for major AI platform initiatives, which includes defining technical roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Driving cross-functional alignment on priorities, timelines, and resources, and ensuring cross-functional activities and deliverables complete on time and within scope.
• Overseeing the Product Development Process and entire software development lifecycle, including release phases, for AI products and solutions.
• Leveraging technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, and managing programs from concept to market, including planning, risk, and schedule management.
• Establishing program metrics, monitoring progress, communicating updates to senior leaders, and offering guidance while mentoring team members informally.
