The Akamai Inference Cloud team, within Akamai's Cloud Technology Group, builds AI platforms for efficient inference models and innovative AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program planning and execution for major AI platform initiatives, defining technical roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Drive cross‑functional alignment on priorities, timelines, and resources, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
• Oversee the Product Development Process and entire software development lifecycle, including release phases, for AI products and solutions.
• Leverage technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects, managing programs from concept to market with planning, risk, and schedule management.
• Establish program metrics, monitor progress, communicate updates to senior leaders, and offer guidance while mentoring team members informally.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical program management, cloud infrastructure engineering, or AI/ML.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, handling risks, and shifting gears as needed.
• Ability to inspire people at all levels of the organization without authority.
• Demonstrated experience in change management and transformation processes.
• Significant experience in Agile processes and methodologies.
• Professional experience as a Project Manager/Program Manager working effectively with cross‑functional teams.
