Job summary

Akamai's Cloud Technology Program Management team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead programs across the Cloud division, coordinating product, engineering, and business teams to exceed customer expectations.

You will drive strategic initiatives, manage dependencies, prioritize work in Jira/Confluence/Smartsheet, and report progress to senior leaders while evolving the roadmap for annual objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in project and technical program management.
• Experience partnering with software engineering teams.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet to plan, track, and report on program execution.
• Experience identifying and managing cross-team dependencies while maintaining accurate project plans, milestones, and delivery timelines.
• Ability to identify execution risks, analyze trade-offs, and communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders and leadership.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

Working closely with software engineering leaders and their teams, you will plan, coordinate, execute, and deliver complex programs, products, and solutions from inception through completion.
