You will act as the main technical contact, engaging proactively and resolving complex issues across networks, apps, and cloud services. Collaboration and automation are encouraged to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical support organization.
• Expert understanding of network and application protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, BGP).
• Hands-on Linux administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud-based or SaaS environments, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and virtualization (KVM, VMware).
• Preferred: CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or DevNet; scripting in Python/JavaScript; IaC tools like Ansible/Terraform; strong communication; security/SAML/SSO knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact, driving customer value through proactive engagement and complex problem resolution.
• Resolve complex technical issues via deep-dive troubleshooting across network, application, and cloud service provider environments.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal engineering teams to document problem definitions, troubleshooting procedures, and resolution steps.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying workflows ripe for automation and contributing to the ThousandEyes customer support forum.
• Participate in a 24x7 support coverage model to ensure high availability and responsiveness for global customers.
