SymphonyAI in Poland seeks a Senior Technical Consultant to lead the technical workstream of Symphony GOLD V6 migrations for a major Central European grocery chain. You will collaborate with customer teams on module migrations (ordering, store operations), data transformation, and environment preparation.

The role combines migration delivery with knowledge transfer, mobile app support (GSM2), and forecasting/replenishment work.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise retail systems engineering experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on technical experience with Symphony GOLD or similar SCM solution with functional depth.
• Working functional awareness of forecasting/replenishment processes.
• Platform migration or upgrade delivery experience (module migration, data transformation, cutover).

Responsibilities

• Migration Technical Delivery across GOLD V6: module migration (ordering, store operations), data/configuration transformation, environment prep.
• Provide technical support for the mobile application (GSM2) through migration phases.
• Support forecasting/replenishment (GDF + GWR) implementation activities with domain awareness.
• Develop bespoke components and fixes (Oracle PL/SQL, ProC/C, shell) within migration scope.
• Production & Cutover Support, tests, defect resolution, and go-live readiness.
• Troubleshoot across application, database, batch, and interface layers during stabilization.
• Absorb structured knowledge transfer from domain experts and collaborate with customer teams in English.

Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant with genuine functional depth to carry the technical workstream of Symphony GOLD V6 migration programs for European grocery retailers — currently the migration of ordering and store-operations modules, mobile application support, and forecasting/replenishment implementation at a major Central European grocery chain. This is not a pure back-office technical role: the consultant works directly with customer teams, and functional awareness of the forecasting/replenishment domain is part of the role definition, not optional. The role pairs migration build-and-support work with structured knowledge-transfer intake from existing domain experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Migration Technical Delivery
• Execute technical migration activities for GOLD V6: module migration (ordering, store operations), data and configuration transformation, environment preparation.
• Provide technical support for the mobile application (GSM2) through migration phases.
• Support forecasting/replenishment (GDF + GWR) implementation activities with working functional awareness of the domain.
• Develop bespoke components and fixes (Oracle PL/SQL, ProC/C, shell) within migration scope.
• Production & Cutover Support
• Support test cycles, defect resolution, cutover rehearsals, and go-live windows.
• Troubleshoot across application, database, batch, and interface layers during stabilization.
• Knowledge Transfer & Collaboration
• Absorb structured knowledge transfer from existing domain experts (bounded KT is part of the onboarding plan).
• Work directly with customer technical and business teams in English; document to program standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise retail systems engineering experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on technical experience with Symphony GOLD or an equivalent renowned, market-established and referenceable SCM solution, with demonstrated functional depth beyond pure technical work.
• Working functional awareness of forecasting/replenishment processes — part of the role definition, not optional.
• Platform migration or upgrade delivery experience (module migration, data transformation, cutover).
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL, ProC/C, and Unix shell skills.
• Mobile-module support exposure (GSM2 or equivalent).
• Fluent English; customer-facing working mode.

Preferred Qualifications

• GOLD V6 experience specifically.
• Polish language or Central European retail exposure.
• Integration-support background on enterprise retail programs.
