Job summary

HSBC Krakow is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join our delivery team, focusing on the development and maintenance of FICC Pricing Applications. You will own back-end Java development and CI/CD tooling, partnering with stakeholders to deliver on time.

The role requires strong Java expertise (7+ years), leadership capabilities and hands-on experience with microservices, monitoring, and DevOps practices in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Zakres and benefits are described in the offer.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java engineering experience as an individual contributor with mentoring ability.
• Proven track record of platform improvements, performance optimisation and production stability.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environments with Agile approach.
• Experience with Vertex, Spring Boot and microservices architecture, Elasticsearch/ELK.
• Familiarity with monitoring and CI/CD/DevOps tooling and related security practices.
• Exposure to JMS/IBM MQ/Artemis/Solace and RDBMS/NOSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop code for new requirements and fix defects according to standards.
• Contribute to requirements gathering and delivery planning with stakeholders.
• Translate objectives into user stories with product owners and analysts.
• Identify transformation opportunities and drive automation.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with development and testing teams.
• Review solutions and advise on risk and strategy.
• Provide support to the technical lead and conduct research on best practices.
