Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior Team Leader for maternity cover in Katowice, Poland. The role combines people leadership with hands-on delivery across embedded software teams, aligning priorities, dependencies and delivery risks with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.

You will mentor engineers, drive development plans, and promote best practices including automated testing and CI/CD while maintaining clear status reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Typically 5–8 years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Background in people management, technical leadership, mentoring, or team coordination.
  • Ability to present delivery status, risks, and dependencies to partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple engineering teams and conduct regular 1:1 meetings, feedback sessions, and development planning.
  • Coordinate delivery across teams in collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
  • Manage dependencies, identify risks, and ensure effective resolution of issues.
  • Promote engineering practices such as automated testing, CI/CD, and standardization.
