Talentuno Technologies in Warsaw seeks a Senior Tax Accountant to manage VAT, Intrastat and ESL returns across European countries. You will reconcile VAT transactions, prepare payments, and ensure accuracy within a large multinational framework.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs), and fluency in English, with a focus on timely, precise reporting and collaboration in a multinational SSC environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare VAT, Intrastat and ESL returns for European countries and reconcile with the business unit balance sheet.
• Prepare Intrastat and ESL reports including extraction and compilation.
• Run VAT reports and verify completeness and accuracy of VAT transactions.
• Reconcile VAT return output to VAT GLs.
• Transfer balances from VAT transitory accounts to VAT receivable/payable.
• Prepare VAT payment requests and send for approval if payable.
• Perform VAT clearing and respond to Tax Office inquiries.
• Support SSC operations and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Your role

• Preparation of VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales List returns in a compliant and timely manner and reconciliation of returns to the business unit balance sheet - for European countries
• Prepare Intrastat reports and ESL reports (includes extraction of reports, compilation of the reports) for above countries
• Run reports, verify completeness & accuracy of VAT transactions included in the VAT file
• Reconcile VAT return output to VAT GL's
• Transfer balances from VAT transitory accounts to VAT receivable / payable
• Prepare VAT payment request and send for approval - if payable
• Perform VAT clearing
• Response for questions from local Tax Office
• Contribute to a team environment where continuous improvement is a way of life. Contribute to the smooth running of the SSC by performing other tasks as required.
