Job summary

SupportYourApp is seeking a T3 Support Engineer to join a global, multilingual team. You will troubleshoot escalated issues across backend services, databases, and cross-system integrations, while ensuring clear communication with clients and internal teams.

The role emphasizes strong SQL skills, experience with production databases, and the ability to explain technical concepts to customers. Remote work from EU is supported, with a fixed schedule and USD compensation.

Qualifications

• Must have strong troubleshooting and code-reading abilities.
• Customer-facing experience in a technical support role is required.
• Excellent SQL skills with production-scale databases.
• Familiarity with PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
• Experience with Sentry and Grafana for monitoring is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues escalated from T1 involving backend, databases, and cross-system integrations.
• Reproduce bugs across web admin consoles, mobile apps, and backend APIs.
• Analyze logs, error traces, and metrics to identify root causes.
• Query production databases (read-only) to validate data-related issues.
• Implement small, low-risk fixes, including configuration changes and code patches.
• Escalate complex issues to Engineering with clear documentation.
• Track incidents and outages through resolution using monitoring tools.
• Maintain and expand internal runbooks and knowledge bases to reduce escalations.
• Maintain deep understanding of client solutions and meet KPI.
