Job summary

AIDA projektai, MB is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team in the banking domain. You will design end-to-end data solutions across AWS cloud and on-prem Oracle DB, building ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow, dbt, and SAP Data Services.

Responsibilities include data ingestion, migration of legacy systems, and ensuring data quality, security, and performance across workflows, with EOD ROTA incident coverage. English required for the role.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on SQL and Python experience.
• Cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP experience.
• Experience with Airflow or dbt.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB, SAP IQ, SAP Data Services and SAP BO.
• Understanding of real-time, event-driven architectures and integrations.
• DevOps practices, IaC, CI/CD and SDLC exposure.
• Experience with Data Mesh, Medallion architecture and data product deliveries.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve data ingestion, processing, storage, and sharing in a Data Mesh platform.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, dbt, and SAP Data Services.
• Migrate legacy data systems toward cloud-native architectures.
• Ensure data quality, security, and performance across workflows.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Perform code reviews, implement monitoring, and fix defects.
• Participate in EOD ROTA with incident resolution until late hours.
