Job summary

OANDA Poland sp. z o.o. is seeking a Staff Systems Administrator to join our global Corporate IT team. This role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of critical internal systems. Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in systems administration and expertise in Windows, macOS, and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will also offer strong mentoring capabilities and excellent communication skills to translate complex topics for non-technical audiences. A Bachelor's degree in CS/IT is required, while experience with GCP and security frameworks is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in systems administration, with 5+ in a senior/lead capacity.
• Deep knowledge of Windows & macOS, networking (TCP/IP, SSL), and virtualization.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical systems.
• Lead design sessions and automation initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and mentor other systems administrators.

Skills

10+ years in systems administration

Deep knowledge of Windows & macOS

Networking (TCP/IP, SSL)

Virtualization

Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms

Solid Google Workspace administration knowledge

IAM/PAM concepts

Familiarity with security frameworks

Excellent communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT

Tools

Cloud platforms (GCP preferred)

Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible)
