Job summary

OANDA Poland sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable trading and data services. You will work in a Linux environment with a focus on high-performance C++ and Python applications backend infrastructure.

You will collaborate with leadership, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, mentor colleagues, and participate in on-call support on a monthly rotation as part of an agile engineering team in Kraków.

Qualifications

• A university degree in computer science or related field (and possibly a graduate degree).

Responsibilities

• Research, design, test, implement, deploy, and maintain online and backend trading and data services infrastructure applications in Linux.
• Collaborate with business and technical leadership to understand requirements and with team members to design and implement applications.
• Shepherd releases from creation to release, including maintenance and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor team members.
• Participate in on-call support on a rotation basis.
