Job summary

Your ITeams Sp. z o.o. is seeking a System Architect to lead the design of a new distributed microservices system for the insurance sector. The role requires defining the architecture, setting technical standards, and guiding development, deployment, and operational resilience.

You will work in a hybrid model from Warsaw, overseeing architecture, code reviews, and the technical roadmap while mentoring teams and ensuring secure, scalable solutions across the system landscape.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience working in the insurance domain.
• At least 5 years of experience in system design and architectural oversight.
• English language proficiency at or above B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Design the architecture for a new insurance-domain system and produce comprehensive technical documentation.
• Build the system from the ground up within a distributed microservices architecture; perform hands-on development as required.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and implementation assumptions to support development decisions.
• Set the technical direction, maintain technology standards, and ensure code quality.
• Estimate development and architectural effort and determine required resources.
• Assign development tasks, oversee implementation, conduct code reviews, and produce documentation.
• Ensure security controls and operational requirements are met in delivered solutions.
• Provide programming support during development, deployment, and stabilization phases.
