Job summary

Your ITeams Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Java Developer (Insurance) to join a software engineering team focusing on enterprise insurance solutions. The role is hybrid from Warsaw, with in-office presence at least one day per week.

You will design and maintain backend services in Java, collaborate with product owners, and drive code quality and performance improvements. Expect collaboration across distributed teams and mentorship of junior developers.

Qualifications

• Several years of backend development experience with Java (Java 8+ preferred).
• Experience with enterprise Java frameworks and libraries (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with relational databases and ORM tools.
• English fluency for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable backend services using Java and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality and testing practices.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and tooling improvements.
• Mentor and support junior developers.
