Job summary

Sweco Belgium is seeking a Structural Engineer to design and ensure the stability of industrial constructions. You will perform design calculations, collaborate with architects and other engineers, and help deliver safe, sustainable structures across projects in Belgium and beyond.

The role emphasizes teamwork, analytical problem‑solving, and client communication. A master’s in civil engineering, 5+ years’ experience, and AutoCAD/Revit/ Diamonds or Scia proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in civil engineering with focus on construction.
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering or design.
Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and structural analysis tools such as Diamonds/Scia.

Responsibilities

Design and calculations for new-build and renovation projects.
Prepare technical reports and project files; obtain permits from authorities.
Collaborate with engineers, architects and project teams to integrate structural solutions.
Site follow-up and technical inspections to ensure code compliance.
Maintain client contact and provide technical advice to deliver on time and budget.
