Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Civil/Structural/Mechanical engineer to support large structural steel module fabrication for AP1000 plants in Europe and the US. Location is Kraków/Warsaw-based with a hybrid work model.

The role requires 5+ years in structural steel design, knowledge of US codes and welding standards, and experience with nuclear quality processes. You will coordinate with the FFE Team, Supply Chain, and senior management to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Civil/Structural or Mechanical preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of substantial structural steel design and fabrication support.
• Knowledge of structural steel design and US codes preferred.
• Knowledge of welding design and US codes (AWS) preferred.
• Experience with European and US nuclear quality standards and engineering change control processes preferred.
• Ability to organize and delegate work and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Good team building skills with ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering support and oversight of the large structural steel modules fabrication support for AP1000 European and US Domestic plants.
• Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and/or procedures to support fabrication of these modules.
• Working with the rest of the FFE Team, providing answers to fabricators' RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, addressing non-conformance requests, and any other way to support the fabrication of the steel modules.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Team, providing updates of the tasks to support fabricators.
• Engage with partners, supply chain, and WEC senior management as required.
