Job summary

Amentum invites applications for a Structural Engineer to join the IDS team in Kraków/Warsaw. You will lead structural analyses and deliver calculations, drawings, and specifications for regulated infrastructure and industrial projects.

Based in Poland with UK/European standards exposure, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to ensuring safety, quality, and compliance throughout the design lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (MSc/MEng preferred).
• Chartered (CEng/MIStructE) or working toward chartership.
• 6+ years delivering structural engineering design in regulated sectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel and RC.
• Develop and own engineering deliverables: calculation packages, reports, drawings.
• Apply EN 1990–1993, EN 1997, EN 1998, BS standards where relevant; ensure QA/governance.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Civil, Geotechnical, MEP, Fire, Safety, and Construction teams.
• Review colleagues' work; mentor less experienced engineers.
