Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Assistant Structural Engineer to join the Integrated Delivery Solutions team in Kraków. You will contribute to structural analysis and design across regulated sectors, building your technical knowledge under guidance while working with international teams.

Based in Poland, the role follows UK/European standards, with exposure to US codes. The position offers a full-time contract, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive environment focused on safety,

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BSc/MSc).
1-3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
Experience using Eurocodes (EN 1990–1999).
Experience in Revit and/or Tekla.
Fluent in English (B2 or higher) and Polish.
Willingness to learn and work within highly regulated sectors (defence, energy, industrial).

Responsibilities

Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for concrete and steel structures.
Support structural analysis and design under senior engineer supervision.
Perform basic calculations and checks for structural elements.
Work in BIM environments (Revit / Tekla), including model reviews and clash checks.
Coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams.
