Job summary

GRAID Technology is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of our next-generation storage platform. You will define system architecture, drive technology decisions, and collaborate with engineering, product management, validation, and leadership teams.

You will shape scalable, high-performance software across operating systems, drivers, firmware, storage stacks, and hardware–software integration, guiding teams to robust, future-proof solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, SE, EE, or related field.
• 10+ years of system software development with architectural responsibilities.
• Expert-level knowledge of C and/or C++.
• Strong OS architecture, memory management, concurrency, virtualization knowledge.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and/or UEFI environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the architecture of system software solutions across the product portfolio.
• Drive technical strategy and long-term architectural roadmaps.
• Design scalable, high-performance, and resilient storage software systems.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, validation, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end system design consistency.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and architectural approaches.
• Define software frameworks, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Guide system performance optimization, scalability, security, and reliability initiatives.
• Support complex root cause analysis and resolution of critical system-level issues.
• Mentor senior engineers and contribute to the growth of engineering talent across the organization.
• Partner with product management and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
