Job summary

GRAID Technology is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of our next-generation storage platform. You will define system architecture, drive technology decisions, and collaborate with engineering, product management, validation, and leadership teams.

You will shape scalable, high-performance software across operating systems, drivers, firmware, storage stacks, and hardware–software integration, guiding teams to robust, future-proof solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, SE, EE, or related field.
• 10+ years of system software development with architectural responsibilities.
• Expert-level knowledge of C and/or C++.
• Strong OS architecture, memory management, concurrency, virtualization knowledge.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and/or UEFI environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support complex root cause analysis and resolution of critical system-level issues.
• Mentor senior engineers and contribute to the growth of engineering talent across the organization.
• Partner with product management and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Role Overview:

• Experience with Linux, Windows, and/or UEFI environments

• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise storage technologies, RAID solutions, NVMe, PCIe, or distributed storage architectures
• Knowledge of firmware, drivers, and hardware-software co-design
• Experience with performance engineering and system optimization
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms
• Experience leading cross-functional technical programs in a global environment
• Understanding of security architecture and reliability engineering principles
• Experience working in Agile development environments
