Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Senior Statistical Programmer to design, develop, and implement technical solutions for integrating, analyzing, and reporting clinical data. You’ll work with GBDS and external vendors to support regulatory submissions and data presentations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 4 years of industry programming experience, with strong SAS/R skills and knowledge of CDISC standards. Hybrid onsite work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science or life sciences required.
• At least 4 years programming experience in industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in SAS, R or other programming languages to produce derived analysis datasets and TFLs.
• In-depth understanding of clinical data structure (e.g. CDISC standards) and relational databases.
• Experience with software tools and applications (XML, Pinnacle 21, MS Office).
• Ability to work in a team with clinical team members.

Responsibilities

• Create SAS programs to generate derived analysis datasets and content for tables, listings, and figures; perform programming validation.
• Provide comprehensive programming support for project teams including development of strategies and standards.
• Support electronic submission preparation and review.
• Review planning documents to ensure alignment with objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Interact with vendors regarding standards and file transfers.
• Provide leadership to ensure GBDS deliverables meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and consistency within GBDS and with vendors.
• Lead programming assignments across multiple projects with minimal supervision.
