Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Programmer to provide programming expertise for clinical projects, focusing on design, development and implementation of solutions for integrating, analyzing and reporting clinical data.

You will collaborate with GBDS and external vendors, lead programming tasks across multiple projects with minimal supervision, and support regulatory filings and e-submission activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science or life sciences required.
• At least 4 years programming experience in industry.
• Proficiency in SAS, R or other programming languages to produce derived analysis datasets and TFLs.
• Understanding of CDISC standards and relational databases.
• Experience with MS Office, XML, Pinnacle 21.
• Ability to handle upstream data, workflows, eDC, SDTM.
• Ability to deliver outputs for ADaM and Data Definition Table, e-submission.
• Good knowledge of regulatory and industry standards.
• Familiarity with statistical terminology and protocol designs.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Create SAS programs to generate derived analysis datasets and content for tables, listings, and figures.
• Provide programming support including development of strategies, standards, specifications and programmed analysis.
• Support electronic submission preparation and review.
• Review planning documents for alignment with objectives and clarify programming requirements.
• Interact with vendors regarding standards, conventions and file transfers.
• Ensure quality of GBDS deliverables by applying standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and consistency with GBDS and vendors.
• Independently lead or perform programming assignments across multiple projects.
