Qualifications

• Expert-level C++ in production systems, memory management, move semantics, cache-friendly structures.
• Deep performance engineering across CPU/memory profiling, flame graphs, off-CPU, and continuous profiling.
• Lock contention resolution, latency optimization in distributed architectures, and CI regression detection.
• Strong diagnostics and benchmarking skills with analytical capacity and data-driven decision making.
• Leadership experience guiding senior engineers and communicating trade-offs to management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the performance authority for issues, roadmaps, and architecture reviews.
• Lead a performance domain end-to-end from hypothesis to measurable production gains.
• Architect scalable subsystems in a petabyte-scale distributed system.
• Introduce observability, telemetry sources, and production-grade profiling.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers and enable data-driven leadership decisions.
