Job summary

Vestas is seeking three Senior Specialists to join the Nacelles Centers of Competence within Production Engineering. You will translate product designs into robust manufacturing solutions, driving standards, and enabling scalable production across our global factories.

Specialists with deep knowledge in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering/Industrialization will lead technical initiatives, guide teams, and implement work instructions and quality standards to support the energy

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Structural Engineering or related discipline. A Master’s/PhD is advantageous.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience with deep technical knowledge in your specialist field.
• Experience from large-scale industrial manufacturing or engineering environments across multiple sites.
• Electrical profile: knowledge of electrical connections, terminations, busbars, joints and related standards.
• Mechanical profile: experience with joints, torque, tension, tooling, structural behaviour, QA.
• Production Engineering/Industrialization: experience industrializing complex products and translating designs into scalable production processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive manufacturing standards, methodologies and best practices within your area of specialization.
• Translate engineering and product design requirements into robust, safe and scalable manufacturing solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to production engineering teams and sites globally.
• Develop, implement and improve manufacturing specifications, work instructions and quality standards.
• Manage technical problem solving, risk assessment and root-cause analyses (FMEA) and quality issues.
• Collaborate across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Service and suppliers to cover the full lifecycle.
