Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Process Lead to connect R&D and Manufacturing, shaping product design through DfA and DFMEA and ensuring robust, scalable manufacturing solutions.

You will own end-to-end process development from early product design through industrialization and serial production, lead PFMEA and process documentation, and coach engineers across a global organization. This is a key role within the Nacelle Components technical leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, process engineering or industrialization.
• Strong experience with manufacturing and assembly processes and industrialization of new products.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, process validation and process documentation; Windchill/Creo exposure.
• Experience with Design for Assembly (DfA) and collaboration with product development to improve manufacturability.
• Experience supporting prototype, early-build and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities through to manufacturing readiness.
• Experience from an international manufacturing environment (automotive, aviation, wind energy, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Design for Assembly and manufacturing process development from early product development through industrialization and serial production.
• Act as the key manufacturing interface with R&D, shaping product design through DfA and DFMEA for robust, scalable solutions.
• Own and improve PFMEA, Control Plans, process flows, work instructions and process parameters.
• Define and optimize manufacturing concepts, process architecture, assembly sequences, line balancing, tooling and methods to meet safety, quality, cost and takt targets.
• Govern manufacturing process changes and ensure compliance and readiness across the product lifecycle.
• Support Manufacturing Leads and factories through industrialization, prototyping and early-build activities, resolving technical issues.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to process engineers and designers, driving standardization and continuous improvement.
